Stillpoint is a quiet app. That extends to how we handle your data — we collect as little as possible, keep it on your device, and never sell or share it.

Stillpoint stores your practice data — sitting sessions, journal entries, visitor choices, and settings — locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync (see below).
We do not collect analytics, crash reports, usage metrics, advertising identifiers, or any personal information from inside the app. There are no third-party SDKs in Stillpoint. No data is sent to our servers.
If you are signed into iCloud, Stillpoint can sync your practice archive across your devices using Apple's CloudKit private database. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account — not ours. Apple encrypts it in transit and at rest. We have no access to it. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.
If you grant permission, Stillpoint writes Mindful Session records to Apple Health for each completed sitting. We write only — we never read from Health. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Stillpoint.
The optional dedication you set in Settings ("I sit for ___") is stored locally in your device's preferences. It is never transmitted, never tracked, never logged. It is private.
If you use Retreat Mode, Stillpoint requests access to Apple's Screen Time framework to place voluntary app shields. The list of apps you choose to shield is stored on-device only and is never transmitted to us.
The only personal information we collect through this website is the email address you voluntarily submit on the waitlist form. We use it to notify you when the app is available and to send infrequent product updates. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.
Your email is stored with our provider, Buttondown. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by writing to support@stillpoint.day.
stillpoint.day uses Plausible Analytics for aggregate site traffic. Plausible uses no cookies and collects no personal information. There are no tracking pixels, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel.

Stillpoint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced by email to waitlist subscribers.
